Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

1. What we collect

If you don't create an account, GoalHub doesn't collect any personal data from you — browsing scores and standings works without signing in.

If you sign in, we store:

  • Email address — used only to send your one-time sign-in ("magic") link
  • Country — detected automatically from your connection (via Cloudflare) to power the country leaderboard; we never ask you to type this in
  • Favorites, notification preferences, and predictions/leaderboard data — the account features you actually use

We never ask for or store a password.

2. What we don't collect

No payment information, no advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking cookies. The only thing saved in your browser's local storage is your light/dark theme preference.

3. How we use it

Solely to run the features you use: signing you in, remembering your favorites, sending notifications you've opted into, and running the leaderboard. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we don't use it for advertising.

4. Third parties involved

  • TheSportsDB, API-Football, football-data.org — provide match/team data. Your personal account data is not shared with them.
  • Resend — delivers the magic-link sign-in email on our behalf.
  • Cloudflare — hosts the site, the backend, and the database (D1), and provides the automatic country detection.

5. Your choices

You can turn off notifications at any time from your account settings. To delete your account and all associated data, email us and we'll remove it.

6. Children

GoalHub isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above.
